Dress measurements are taken with the garment lying flat. For designs that are incorporated with smocked backing, we take measurements of dress that is unstretched to the appropriate length when stretched.
All measurements are quoted in inches and taken on a single side of the garment.
Due to the flowy nature of some dresses, we have included additional measurements to show the extended length of the extra material beyond the dress lining.
To check your size, please take out a dress of similar cutting from your wardrobe and lay it flat. Next, use a measuring tape and measure the Pit to Pit (PTP), waist, length on one side and compare it with the sizings stated to choose the best size for you.
